Meet Rasha Deeb

The Vision Behind Selsela

Behind every Selsela piece is the vision of the woman who first imagined it.

Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Rasha Deeb grew up surrounded by a rich culture of artistry, elegance, and timeless style. She went on to graduate from the American University of Beirut (AUB) before building a successful career in banking, a path that would span many years.

In 2001, Rasha moved to Dubai with her two young children, determined to build a new life while balancing family and career. She continued working in the banking sector, where she became known not only for her professionalism but also for her impeccable sense of style. Her rings, bracelets, and carefully curated jewelry choices became a signature, often sparking conversations with colleagues and clients who would stop to ask where they were from.

What others saw as accessories, Rasha saw as a form of self-expression.

Her passion for jewelry had been with her since childhood, quietly growing alongside her career until it became impossible to ignore. Eventually, she decided to take a leap of faith and transform that lifelong love into something tangible.

In 2008, she founded Selsela with a simple yet ambitious vision: to create jewelry that reflected the tastes of women in the region, pieces inspired by global trends but thoughtfully reimagined through an Arab perspective. She wanted women to feel elegant without compromising their identity, and contemporary without losing touch with tradition.

What began with a handful of carefully selected designs and exhibition tables soon evolved into one of the region's most recognized jewelry brands, proving that passion, persistence, and authenticity can turn a dream into a lasting legacy.

Today, Rasha's story continues to inspire not only the women who wear Selsela, but also the next generation leading it forward, making her journey a true testament to the power of believing in your vision and daring to build it.
